The sliding compound mitre saw nearly made it through all the external work. However on Monday the electric brake started to only work intermittently. And then yesterday there were sparks and the noises that were not consistent with a tool that was working the way it should.
So I took it back to where I bought it and they gave me a new one, as it had a 2 year replacement warranty (failed after 21 months). The new one is the newer model that has fancy things like laser guides, belt driven and all that. Need to see how it goes next week when I start building the window frames in the straw bales.
